John and I met professionally at first but quickly hit it off.  He was a man’s man who told it like he saw it and would do anything for you. Over the years  we would meet for a smoke, lunch or just cocktails to catch up , but the highlight of every year, whether with Maria and my wife Lori,  or just the guys was dinner in Queens and a Met game. John was so proud of his sons and grandchildren and spoke of them often with a special smile every time! I was blessed to call John my friend and will forever miss him saying “What’s up brother” whenever we met. RIP my dear friend 💔
