Nick was my uncle.  Although I did not get to spend as much time with him and his family (especially Janet) as I would have liked growing up, he always kept in touch with me throughout my lifetime.  This part of my family were (and are) always welcoming whenever I did get to reunite with them.

In my youth I struggled, as you do 😉, and at one point I moved back to Virginia with a cousin and boy did we flounder.  Nick connected with me often during this time.  He showed us ‘The Capitol Building “ (I loved the way he said this) and its tunnels.  Took us out to eat and gave me money now and then. When it was time for us to return to Florida, he took my car and had all kinds of work done on it to make sure we would be safe.  I never forgot that kindness because quite frankly I didn’t really feel like i deserved it at the time.  He was a really good man and I know all of his loved ones are really hurting right now.  To all of you, I hope the wonderful memories you all shared together bring you some Peace.

Nick was truly one in a million. I met him early on through my sponsor, Jackie . He was a gem. Caring and kind.  May he rest in peace....

Nick was a great guy he was my oldest brother, 18 years older.   He made you laugh till your belly hurt.  He did so much for me... He helped me through my hardest times always there if he was needed.

He will be missed so much already does.   In the words of Nick "MY MAN" .  He would either start a conversation with that or end it.

  • Rest in Peace my brother we all know you're in a better place.

Love you
