Background
Johnny's presence touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion. His passions for Buddhist meditation, Medical Assistance and research, and the fostering and care of cats were profound and inspiring. As we pause to celebrate his life, let us honor his memory by supporting the organizations that meant so much to him.
Later in his life, Johnny found solace and wisdom in Buddhist meditation. Plum Village Blue Cliff Monastery was instrumental in nurturing his spiritual growth and providing him with a supportive community. By contributing to this organization, we can ensure that others can benefit from their teachings and find peace in their own spiritual journeys.
Another cause that was close to Johnny's heart was Medical Assistance and research and he was himself a liver transplant recipient. The New York-Presbyterian Transplant Center held a special place in his heart, as he recognized the transformative power of organ transplantation. By donating to this institution, we can continue to advance medical breakthroughs and offer hope to those in need of life-saving treatments.
Lastly, Johnny's love for animals, especially cats, was boundless. He recognized the importance of providing care and shelter to these vulnerable creatures. The Animal Care Centers of NYC played a vital role in his mission to create a better world for our furry friends. Supporting this organization will ensure that countless cats receive the love, care, and second chances they deserve.
