I am so sad to hear about John's son's death. The pictures of him and his family are beautiful. He left such a beautiful, wonderful family. He will be missed so much.

Todd was more than my husband, he was my best friend and the only person I had constant in my life since 18. When we started dating I knew instantly he was going to be bigger than life in my life. He had a passion of asking "have you had this?" Or "Have you gone here?". Or "Have you heard this?" Or "Have you seen this?" He was always teaching me something new. New facts on history. New fun facts on every single movie we ever watched. Concert trivia, music trivia, anything he could get me to try, do or learn new filled him with excitement.

I knew he was going to one day be that dad doing the same thing for our children, he had done for me. And he did. He was the father sitting on the floor reading to them and with them. He was the father watching history documentaries with them & feeding even more facts about whatever the topic was. Todd was brilliant and didn't know it. Which made him the most humble man I knew.

Law Enforcement ran in his blood, when he graduated Law Enforcement Training at KLETC in 2007, his blood forever turned blue. Naturally mine turned blue with him. I have been so proud of Todd and proud I was who he wanted to call wife the rest of his life. His absence will be massive. Todd was absolutely the best human I had the pleasure to ever meet. We both found each other perfectly imperfect and I love that about us.

Thank you to all of you who have flooded our lives with so much love and prayers during this time.

I work for the FD in town, and I'm a driver, so naturally I spend a lot of time with the truck while my coworkers are doing their thing. I had numerous opportunities to talk to Todd. It didn't take long to understand that he loved his family, he loved serving the citizens of CJ and he was an all around good man. I was genuinely sad to hear of his passing. Prayers for his family, friends and coworkers.
