I’m so very sorry to learn of John’s passing. I worked with John and we kept in touch at times just to talk and share stories about life. I’m  so sorry we lost touch over the past few years. The time I spent with him and his son Will (during vacation retreats in Maine), was very special and I will always continue to smile when I think of John’s memory.  He truly was a renaissance man, in every sense of the word.  -Art L.
I am very sorry to hear of John's passing.   Will, I remember meeting you on your 5th birthday at Clyde's. We have very fond memories of Super Bowl parties with him.  Sending love to you and Rebecca-he will be missed.

Like several others, I worked with John at Price Waterhouse for several years. He was always a great teammate, co-worker, fun to be around, great attitude. And I remember John being a Santa at a toy store in Oakton.... and we took our kids to see him/Santa... what a hoot. Kids are now in their 30s... time goes by so fast.

After the PW/PwC days, used to occasionally run into John at events at Oakton High School... always a smile.

John will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing.  He was a friend, coworker, ally, and a truly kind man.  He loved telling stories about his son, Will, of whom he was SO proud, sharing his original writings and making friends with his jovial nature.  I know he will be missed by so many.
I am so sad to learn that we have lost John.  He was a quick-witted man with a kind, generous, loving heart and he will be missed.
After decades of hiatus, John and I had been in touch over the last several years. He was such a sweetheart. My condolences 💐.

John first recruited me to Price Waterhouse to help with their system integration efforts and then the two of us moved to Ernst & Young Technologies.  I have many wonderful memories of our times through the years and I will greatly miss you  John.

so sad to see Mr Frey pass...he was always ready with a smile...A ton of fun to work with...a true character that I will miss...
I worked with John at PW and immediately grew a great fondness and respect for him. One of my great memories with John was in NYC.  We were there on business and he arranged a dinner for our group at Smith & Wollensky.  What a great night. John is a true original, kind and so smart. My condolences to your family and his many, many friends.
John my heart is broken eyes filed with tears over 60 years of friendship, you were one of a kind who will be missed RIP my friend😔♥️
He was a very good friend.  My sincerest condolences.

The first time I met John was at Stratus Computer,  Dale Young and I were at a proposal meeting, John talking about a software package the client was interested in, I had just taken a bite of a donut when John quips some people think this software is a little buggy other call it a roach motel, I spit that donut across the table laughing as loud as I could,  I will miss you John..

I knew John through our professional work group.  He was a good man and became a good friend over the years.  He had a happy soul.  I am very sorry to hear of his passing.  May he rest in peace.
