John's obituary

John Wesley Ford III, 65, of Duluth GA, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2022 of natural causes.

Wesley was born on October 11th 1956 in Jacksonville Florida to Peggy & Johnny Ford. He was the oldest of four siblings. After graduating from Marist high school in 1974, he went on to obtain a degree in psychology at LaGrange College.


After graduation, he went to work for his father at Ford Steel Co.  Wesley married Elizabeth (Liz) and they had a daughter, Jennifer.  

Wesley's latest position was in sales for Home Depot. He was known to be a hard worker and always enjoyed sales and interacting with customers.

Wesley had a love of golf, bowling, fishing and cheering on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He loved going to The Masters every year to watch Tiger Woods and enjoy a cold diet coke with a pimento cheese sandwich. He had many pets over the years as he had a big heart for animals. He has left behind his beloved bird Rosco.  Wesley is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ford. Friends and loved ones are invited to use the memories tab of this page to share a message about the dearly departed.

 Wesley will be cremated. There will be no service at this time.
