John's obituary
He is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Britt Blauvelt, and his father, George Flad, as well as his grandparents on both sides.
He is survived by his three children, Laura Flad, Amanda Flad Derouen, and Travis Flad, all of New Iberia, LA; his step-father, Lyle Blauvelt, his sister Dorthy Crane and his half-brother Brian Blauvelt all of New York and his half-sister Michelle Smart of Georgia, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, he will be cremated at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory and his remains sent to his children.
