I only saw John as a little boy. He was very sweet and “cute “. He came to my parents house to visit my family  occasionally with his parents & brother. He was shy as I remember. It was  2-3 hour trip from Balllston Spa to Millerton & I was going to nursing school from  1953–1956 so it was probably during Christmas breaks. I moved west in January 1958. I never saw John again except in pictures after that. I thought he had  many of my dad’s features. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t follow much of his life. I never knew he was in the Army or where he served.  I caught up with him after Julie  & her mom visited me when I lived in Las Vegas.  I am so sorry that Julie  will be without her dad & her children without their loving grandfather so prematurely.  My heartfelt condolences to them with love & prayers. I know the wonderful memories they share will be comforting & plentiful.

Much love from Aunt Marsha

My sincerest condolences to the family and all who knew and loved him ~ May his soul rest easy in peace
