I just learned today that Neil passed in May. My condolences to the family. Neil was my friend. We met on the Metro Access bus and found an immediate connection. Neil was our first cousin twice removed. I always think of him as an entertainer with a devoted audience. He was funny and kind hearted but stood his ground too. He told me he sang in a group as a young man. I'm sorry I missed out on that performance. I loved talking to him and would have spent time with him had we been in the same state. I'm sure he will be missed by his siblings and children, grandchildren and his nephews and nieces. I mourn his passing. I will always remember his wonderful personality. Sending my love and condolences from Indiana. Rest in peace cousin Neil.

Neil had just gotten home from the Navy. He had a really cool sports car, Austin Healy. I was somewhere between 10 and 12 and had a neighbor that had a cool car and was in the Navy……WOW !

One day out of nowhere he asked me and my parents if he could take me to Cedar Point Amusement Park. We had just met not to long before.

Thank you Neil, for a memory that’s lasted a lifetime
