Jack's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of John "Jack" Donahue on August 19, 2024. Born on February 18, 1942, Jack touched many lives with his grace, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. To honor Jack's memory, we celebrate his life, his service to our country as a Marine, and the profound influence he had on those around him.

Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mickie Donahue, his sons, Sean (girlfriend Tammy) & Brent Donahue, his daughter, Elizabeth Pape (husband Daryl), his step-sons, Michael & Andrew DeStacy and his step-daughter, Jamie Sauro (husband Lenny).

Jack's legacy will shine through his grandchildren Jordan & Adrianna Sauro, Cassy & Jesse DeStacy, Isabella & Brooklyn DeStacy and great-grandchildren Lexie & AJ Hill. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Joy Cygiel and nieces. Jack was predeceased by his sister, Ginger Henson.

Jack's remarkable spirit, love for his family, and unique sense of humor will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His legacy will continue to inspire his loved ones and remind them of his unwavering strength and kindness. May his soul rest in peace.
