John Christopher Digby, 46, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Born on June 21, 1978, in the same city he called home throughout his life, John left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

John was known for his sense of humor. His laughter could light up a room, and his ability to bring joy to others remained constant even during the most challenging times. John loved everyone he knew deeply.

John is lovingly remembered by his father, Bo Digby; his mother, Vicki Kuykendal; and his sister, Allison Price and her husband Michael. John was a father to Garrett Digby (Cortney), Zane Digby (Courtney), Brady Digby, Jase Digby, and Krislynn Digby. He had pride in being “Grandad” to his grandchildren Jaxton, Carter Jo, Maverick, and Kolter Digby.

John’s extended family includes many who cherished him deeply as in his nephews, niece, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his brother Dillon Digby; grandparents J.C. Digby and Billie Jo Digby; Peggy and Chuck Henegar; grandfather John Kuykendall; cousin Joey Wadzeck; and uncle Tommy Digby.

Throughout his life, John faced personal battles. Despite these struggles, he never stopped loving fiercely. In the end, he found peace through faith. God saved him in the way only grace can.

In one final act of selflessness that speaks volumes about the man, John donated his organs upon passing , saving the lives of two people. His memory continues not only through those he loved but also through those whose lives were forever changed by his gift.

May John’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of the power of love, laughter, and redemption. A Memorial Service will be held on July 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cumberland Community Church 1415 N Grandview Ave
