Messages from John's LHS'66 classmates
Greg W-A true and loyal friend since we started kindergarten together at Pettengill School.

Susan R-I was left breathless when I heard the news. He was one of the kindest person I have ever known.

Bob V-He was a true gentleman

Dave L-Damn that one hit very hard

Bob P-So so sad I was reminiscing this morning with a friend on how much of a super guy John was.

Stan L-We meet many people in our lives. For me, John was a Titan among them.

Betty R-He was such a wonderful, find, sincere, and loving friend.

Ron D-The news hit me and my brother reala hard. We were real close in high school. Every Friday night before a game we would get together with other players and just have fun.

Linda P-This one hit especially close to home as John and I had many classes together. I can still see his smiling face as he walked into Miss Miller's English class. He was so open-hearted and had a helo for everyone. What a life he had.

John M-Gosh I was blown away by this. The captain is the last one to go down with the ship. Indeed, he will be dearly missed.

Judy M-So sad and too soon.

Diane L-John was a classmate from 7th to 12th grades, and I remember him well. His passing is a shock and a reminder to treasure every moment.

Don D- I had the pleasure of being a close friend and a homeroom bud for all 4 years at LHS.

Ellen T-John was a really special person.

Cheryl A-I think John was the nicest, friendliest of all our male classmates. In July '72 my husband and I were being married and at our rehearsal dinner at Steckino's John was our Sommelier, he was very knowledgeable in food and wine pairing, not bad for only being age 24. I am truly saddened by John's death and I hope his final journey will be as exciting as his last 72 years on earth-may you rest in Peace my friend.

Richard R-John was a very likable man. He was always nice and polite to me even though I was not a Letterman.

Roger M-John was a great leader and always spoke well of all who encountered him.

Sherry G-John was always an amazing guy.
