John Richard Culbreath (JC) met Clarissa Rene' Barnett in March 1994.  JC and Clarissa fell in love almost immediately.  They remained in love until the day he left this earth on January 14, 2024.  Their love story was filled with great hardships and much pain but endured through all.  JC was her protector, her strength,  the only one who remained steady, and the one who never turned away from her regardless of how terrible the situation was. 

JC and Clarissa have two children,  Joshua Barnett (1999) and Jacob Barnett (2001).

JC is missed so greatly by Clarissa and she knows he is in Heaven and they will meet again. 

If you wish to honor the memory of JC please send a book to an inmate, any inmate,  at a detention center.  This book will remain in circulation at the detention center until it has been passed around so much that it falls apart. You will have given the gift of  knowledge thru reading to many individuals that society has dismissed.
