John's obituary
A soft spoken and kind soul who has departed this temporary relm this Sunday last, in the early morning of June 14th this year of our Lord 2020. John now abides with his father, Robert E. Crawford and mother Edna A. Crawford, sister Lynne T. (Crawford) Shivek and brother Larry P. Crawford. Left behind to remember his 58 years amongst us are older brothers Robert J. and George W. of South Carolina, Bruce W. of Pennsylvania, and older sister Mary (Crawford) Llewellyn of South Carolina. Most especially his life long friend and partner of 20 years, his beloved Patty Craven. Whomever heaven has put together, time can not long separate.
At John's request there will be no funeral or burial for the body left behind, as all things are now new and troubles of this relm forgotten. Let us remember and smile - for we are richer from the time he shared with us. We do not say goodbye, but do say we'll see you again soon.
