John's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Coveny, a remarkable man and adored uncle, who left us peacefully on April 5, 2002. Born on January 7, 1937, John lived a fulfilling life filled with kindness and warmth. His loss leaves a deep void, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
John's unyielding love for life and nature made him a joyful presence, often found in the company of his treasured flock of chickens. His chickens were not just his pets, but his family and the source of many fascinating stories and shared laughters. They, along with all who knew him, will deeply miss John's loving and genial presence.
Survived by his devoted nephew, Ryan Atkins, John's legacy of love, warmth, and selflessness will continue to be cherished and celebrated. Ryan fondly recalls many heartfelt conversations with his uncle, where he was always left imbued with wisdom and a feeling of profound love.
In memory of John Coveny, a fundraising endeavor is being made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association. John was committed to contributing to this cause and we invite those who wish to commemorate John's life to make a contribution at the following address: https://everloved.com/life-of…. This act of generosity would indeed be a fitting tribute to his kind and benevolent soul.
We are deeply saddened by John's departure, but we find solace in the beautiful memories he left us with. His spirit will continue to shine in our hearts, reminding us of his unending love and unparalleled kindness. Rest in peace, dear John. Your memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
