It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Coulter Jr., a remarkable man . Born on the 25th of March, 1946, John left us too soon on the 5th of January, 2024.

Many will remember John for his wit and kindness, which brought sunshine to even the most cloudy days. He had an innate ability to transform any room he entered, always quick with a joke and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves to grieve his loving wife of 51 years, Yvonne Coulter, and his cherished daughters, Rashida Grant and Mechean Hunt (Husband) . John also leaves a rich legacy through his grandchildren, Brianna Lawson, Rodney Lawson Jr., Jordin Grant, and Myia Grant, who will continue to carry his spirit forward.

His loss will also be keenly felt within the broader family circle, including his sister, Lillie Wright, his sister, Evette Jordan( Husband)and his aunt, Elizabeth Shuford. And a host of niece & nephews. John was predeceased by his father, John Coulter Sr., and his mother, Lillie Coulter, who we hope have welcomed him with open arms in the next life.

We remember John not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the wonderful memories he has left us, the laughter he shared, the kindness he spread, and the love he had for his family and friends, which was as ceaseless as the tides. May his soul rest in peace.
