John's obituary

John A Conova of Vermont passed away after a long illness on February 26, 2020, at the age of 75.
John is predeceased by his father, Santo F Conova, and his mother, Helen Swain Elliott.
John is survived by his wife, Sharon M Conova, stepson, Marc Kermanj, daughter, Susan S Conova, brother, Eric M Conova, sister-in-law, Donna W Conova, niece, Lauren Conova Grous and nephew, Robert E Conova.
John was born in Millville, NJ June 28, 1944. He graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1962 and went on to earn a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1966. He worked as an Aeronautical Engineer for United States Department of the Navy, in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia. He was on the team that developed the Harrier Jump Jet.
John was an avid bridge player, who was a ranked player in the NE corridor. He and his partner traveled extensively on the east coast competing in tournaments.
Funeral and services were made at the discretion of the family.
