We had the privilege of getting to know John when he joined the Kodokwai Judo Club. John’s work ethic and kindness were unmatched. John’s “hip, bump, sweep” move was brilliant! He will be missed, but never forgotten. Thank you for sharing your son with us. Our sincerest condolences.

Reyna, Trevor, and Bryn,
We were so saddened to hear about John’s passing. Our daughter Gracyn was in kindergarten with him and still remembers how kind he was . She was very shy, and his friendliness made a lasting impact on her.
When the kids moved from Brookwood to Prescott, Gracyn was happy to know John would be there too. Although it has been many years, when Gracyn learned of John’s passing , through tears she shared that he was her best friend in elementary school — a reflection of how special he was to those around him.
Our hearts are with your family during this incredibly difficult time. We’ll always remember John’s kindness and beautiful smile,
Karly Lane and family❤️

I remember the first time I met John, Reyna brought him to the office. He was so little, and we had the greatest time playing trucks in the office hallway together.

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

We were camping with John(aged 3) and his parents, and took John to the playground. He saw several bigger kids playing and called out: “My name is John. Do you want to be my friend?” Within minutes they were all sailing on Captain John’s pirate ship.
That was John. He made friends wherever he went. He was such a bright light. May his light shine on in everyone, whose lives he touched. Be kind to one another.
