Lori, John told me about you and his great love for you. John and I were fast friends at Belleville High and after. We were both outcast kids and birds of a feather. We were also both born again, which means that we are only separated by the thin veil that we call this life. I only recently found out he died. His service happening on my birthday stings a bit more.

I am crying right now, because he was a brother as much as a friend.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I met John all the way back in the third grade and he was an awesome friend. When I lost my husband in 2016, he talked me thru one of the worst times in my life. For that, I will always be grateful. Even months later he would message me just to check on me to see how i was. RIP John. You will be sorely missed!!
Lori, I'm so sorry for I know how close you both were. I know it has to be very hard to say Jesus hold my hand and be my strenght to go forward but all I can say is we have to Trust God in what He does for he protects His children to keep them from evil days ahead. He is protecting John and loving him. This is a great love we don't understand and we are in the flesh also and sometimes can't bear our pain. But you will see John again and it wont be long. My heart breaks for you because of your pain but somehow you will go on and God will stengthen you ,for you are a beautiful person of love from God and the love you share. Isaiah 57ch 1st verse My prayers are with you. I can't be at the memorial Saturday for my husband is also very sick in U of M please pray for him as I will keep you in my prayers. We have to trust God , what would we have without Jesus, we would have no hope but Jesus will alway Be there for us. Love Tina Dailey

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

I know your going through a tough time, so I wanted to bless you with an anagram. G.I.F.T.E.D. May it be a blessing to you and your family. God Bless
