Dear Ashe and family

My wife Les and I (Joe Adlesich) met your mom and dad and grandmother at Dehaven Ranch in 1976. They were gracious and welcoming from the beginning! None of us had much back in those days in terms of money or possessions, and yet your father made everyone present in their home that day a single egg, any style! Being the excellent cook he was it was delicious!

We spent many enjoyable hours with them all over the next 16 years, at which time we moved to the Oregon coast.

Although we never saw each other again physically, we stayed in touch by phone during all the ongoing years at the holidays and at random times.

John and Bonita and Bernice warmth and friendship and loving words will remain with us for the rest of our lives. They are truly missed.

May you have peace of mind and love in your heart always.

Dear Ashe and family,

I was sorry to hear about your dad's passing.  At the same time I am very satisfied knowing that he lived a long and colorful life, rich with stories and high adventure.  We first bonded in Aspen many years ago when he called me to do a small carpet cleaning job.  As we chatted we discovered our Irish heritage, our Catholic upbringing (for better or worse!) and our connection to Winooski, VT (I went to St. Michael's College).  Soon thereafter my company became his Go-To carpet cleaning and restoration establishment.    Rest assured your dad is now in Heaven with your mom Bonita enjoying their just reward for lives of service to family, friends and their fellow man.

Love, in abundance,

"The Monsignor", Joe Farrell and "The Boys" at Sunrise Carpet.
