John was my "brother-in-law" for more than 50 years, he was my niece, Tracey's, Dad. When John and my sister divorced in 1974, I was heartened that John and I agreed then and there we would remain brothers in law and throughout my life I considered him as such. John was a wonderful friend to me, a mentor in many ways, a good man whom I loved very much. Rest in peace, John, we shared much in this life and I will always love you and remember you for all the wonderful things you were to me.
