Mr. John Kevin Brooks passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was 61.

John was born to parents John Albert and Martha Jane Brooks on November 16, 1958 in Greenfield, Indiana. He grew up as the youngest of four children and graduated from Greenfield-Central High School. John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a loving stay-at-home Dad to his three surviving children.

John was a kind and caring friend to all that knew and loved him. He is, and will always be, remembered fondly and greatly missed - especially for his "Dad jokes".

John is survived by his three children: Meghan A. Bedford and her husband Cory; John-Trevor A. Brooks and his wife Rachel; and his youngest, Katelyn A. Brooks, his little Katiebug. He is also survived by: his sisters, Cheryl J. McCormick and her husband Roger; Jennifer M. Cozad and her husband David; his brother, Franke N. Brooks and his wife Nancy; the mother of his three surviving children and partner for 30 years, Lisa Savage-Brooks; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, colleagues and dear friends.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Albert Brooks; mother, Martha Jane Clarke; sister, Kriste N. Brooks; and daughters, Jennifer Ann and Sarah Catherine Brooks.
