John Adams, the 2nd president of the United States, passed away on the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, July 4th, 1826 at the age of 90.
John Adams was born on October 30, 1735, in Braintree, MA. He was the son of John Adams Sr. and Susanna Boylston. He was the brother of Elihu Adams and Peter Adams. John Adams has accomplished many things such as singing the Treaty of Paris, being the author of the Declaration of Independence, and founding the Department of the Navy and the U.S. Constitution.
John Adams will always be remembered for his extreme political independence, his brilliant mind, and passionate patriotism.
