I was shocked when I heard the news of Johanna's passing. Wish though that she had looked at yours truly, the Autistic male friend/pen pal of her Autistic daughter, Channing, in a more positive light. She apparently didn't want her having a boyfriend/husband, let alone Autistic like Channing. To Channing's brother, Hank, if you are aware by now, I had no intention of getting Channing in trouble at all. She was interested, as she still is today, in getting next to me for life. The two of us have known each other on again and off again for 29 years now, starting in 1995, when I found her name back then in this pen pal directory of adults with Autism that the Autism Society Of America mailed out to its members, of which I was one of at that time, and I would be hard-pressed to find an Autistic woman my age locally where I am who is similar to Channing, the chances are that that is not likely. Her guardian and also her caretaker should not count on my forgetting her. Why don't you try talking with me rationally about all of this?

She wasn't perfect - but Goddammit, she was my mother and she passed the Hancock/Meredith Gene onto me and I will always love her for that I miss you so f'ing much Mom!
