Jose "Joey" Navarro, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of 45. He was born on October 21, 1978, in Eagel Pass ,Tx

Joey was a talented athlete during his high school years at Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, Texas, excelling in basketball and football. Following his education, he proudly served his country in the United States Army for ten years, retiring with the rank of Corporal.

Joey is survived by his three children: Derek Koenig (Lynx), Carter Elias, and Christopher Elias; and his two sisters, Beth Navarro and Maria Navarro.

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held on December 20, 2024, at 8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park in Penitas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Joey’s memory.

Joey will be remembered for his patriotism, his unwavering love for those around him, his infectious laughter, and his dedication to making the world a better place. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
