Joesph's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Joesph Blough, a humble and down-to-earth gentleman who was deeply loved and respected by his community. Joesph was born in 1968 and passed away on March 15, 2024. He leaves behind an indelible legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering resilience, inspiring many with his ability to persevere despite health adversities.
Joesph is survived by his brother, Jesse Blough, and his sister, Nagio Morries. He was predeceased by his father, Earl Blough Sr., his mother, Mary Voysnak-Blough, and his brother, Earl Blough Jr. Despite the immense loss of his family members, Joesph drew strength from his faith and the love of his surviving siblings.
A proud graduate of Forest Hills Jr. Sr. High School in Sidman, PA, Joesph had a voracious appetite for knowledge, often found engrossed in books or challenging himself with crosswords and puzzles. His appreciation for simple pleasures in life was evident in his fondness for pizza, pork chops, and soda. He was a committed fan of the Steelers and was often seen sporting the team's colors of Black and yellow
Joesph was an attendee of a Non-Denominational Church, where he found spiritual fulfillment. His faith was not merely limited to his church attendance; it was evident in his everyday interactions with his fellow humans. His deep concern for the wellbeing of children and care for his fellow man made him a beacon of empathy and compassion in the community.
His hobbies included reading, doing crafts and puzzles, and he had a special fondness for collecting angels and crosses. These pursuits were a reflection of his simplicity, his love for beauty, and his affinity for spiritual symbols.
Joesph's legacy is one marked by humility, kindness, and generosity. Even in his last days, he remained a symbol of perseverance, embodying the spirit of Psalm 23 and 91, two of his favorite scriptures that provided him with comfort and strength. Although he is no longer in our midst, his memory and the life lessons he imparted continue to inspire and guide us.
