Jojo's obituary
Joel was born November 12th, 2001 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago in the Belmont Cragin area and Skokie.
As a child he loved playing baseball, he was on the Portage Park little league team. Joel would play outside with friends from the neighborhood. He enjoyed participating in Awana club at church. He also loved science and making silly videos. Joel had a heart for the homeless and would volunteer at soup kitchens with his grandmother and with his mentor. As a young man he had a strong desire to protect and provide for his mother and sister, he wanted to make sure they were taken care of.
Joel was not afraid to take risks, and had wanted to become an entrepreneur, he would learn about investing and wanted to get into the vending machine business. Joel was charming and charismatic, people were drawn to him. He had a contagious smile that would light up a room. Joel was a gift from the Lord and will be tremendously missed.
Joel is survived by his mother Phoebe Valdes, his sister Kayla Camacho, his grandmother Claudia Negron, his aunt Priscilla Negron, and many, many people who loved him.
