Joel's obituary
Joel was born to Charles and Norma Jane Wright in Woodbury, NJ.
After graduating from Ocean City High School in 1990, he went on to run his own successful painting business, married and started a family having 2 children, a son, Mason and a daughter, Avery.
The family eventually moved to FL to enjoy year round sunshine. Joel’s family meant more to him than anything else. He was undeniably proud of Mason and Avery and their accomplishments and instilled a determined work ethic in each of them.
Joel was a fantastic cook, loved boating, fishing, traveling and the beach. Anyone who knew Joel, knew of his sarcastic humor, his strong determination and his fierce loyalty.
Joel is survived by his children Mason and Avery with former wife Michele (Carmel) Wright, his mother, Norma Jane Wright, his brother, Charles C. Wright Jr. (Susan), his nieces Samantha and Rachel and his Aunt Flossy Kerr. Joel was predeceased by his father, Charles C. Wright Sr.
The family is grateful for the love, condolences and privacy at this time. In the near future, Joel’s ashes will be buried at the family cemetery in a private ceremony.
