Joel's obituary
In Joel's younger days, he loved hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was very talented at fixing anything, whether it was mechanical or carpentry. He was a Packers fan and loved NASCAR racing. In retirement, he loved watching all the games, races and spending time with his significant other. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Joel was preceded in death by his father, Robert, his mother, Eleanor and his brother, Dale. He is survived by his significant other of 16 years, Doris Ford, Watertown; his daughter, Lisa (Trevor) Tremaine, Oconomowoc; his son, Michael (Chrissy) Ockerlander, East Troy and a brother, Robert Ockerlander Jr., Wasilla, Alaska; his stepdaughter, Stephanie Ford, Titusville, Florida; 2 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren..
