Joel Morales went home to Jesus on September 07, 2022 at age 50.

Joel was born to Jeremiah and Gladys Morales on June 17, 1972 in Buffalo NY.  Joel worked for over 25 years as a social worker as he had the heart to help people.  He also served for many years as a big brother and role model to many young kids who did not have a father present in the household. These kids loved him as he filled a gap in their lives that they did not have in their own families. Some of these kids grew up to have families of their own, thanks to the love and stability he planted in their lives.   

He also loved to play his piano and sing every chance he got. Every family function was a chance to play the piano.  He loved listening to his favorite pastor Jimmy Swaggert, as he would always tune in to his services on Sunday after he came out of his own church he attended.  Joel also loved everything 80's....his Christian music, movies, and shows. If you visited his home, you could be sure one of those re-runs would be played.   Joel married the love of his life, Noemy,  and completed 25 years of marriage. He loved telling the story about how he met Noemy at one of his favorite restaurants in Tampa where she worked and he knew she was the one for him.   In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Joel also loved his pets Puncher and Bella. He loved to spoil them and they loved him dearly.   

Throughout his entire life, Joel held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Joel joins his father Jeremiah, both sets of Grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many more in  Heaven. He is survived by his mother Gladys Morales, sister Phyllis Frey, brother Jeremiah Jr Morales, and brother David Morales.  

One of his favorite scriptures is Psalms121:2  I lift my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
