Joe's obituary
Joe attended Buffalo State College and went on to his postgraduate studies at Adelphi University as a litigation paralegal. From there, he moved in the banking and mortgage industry; working in places like New York & New Jersey and then moving to Florida to open his own successful mortgage company. After many years in the industry, he moved towards another passion of his and ventured into the food brokering business.
Joe had many talents and passions; music being one of them. Joe's favorite artist was Bruce Springsteen AKA "The Boss"! He loved classic rock & roll music and appreciated the talents within the industry. He loved blaring music on his bluetooth speaker while he cooked and prepared food in the kitchen. Cooking was an outlet for Joe and he often found joy by cooking for others. Of course, he was preparing food for another passion of his - all of the sports events he'd watch throughout the year. Not only did Joe love music and cooking, he also LOVED sports. He adored the New York Yankees, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish & most importantly, the New York Giants. Joe knew everything there was to know about sports from current individual players stats to a team's stats from 30+ years ago.
Joe will be dearly missed and his family is going to move forward in life by always honoring his name. In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation, the family is hoping to send his daughters, Jaimie & Samantha, to New York in the fall to attend a New York Giants game. They will be purchasing a ticket in honor of him and will be sitting next to his empty seat while there. Although, we know he will be right there in spirit.
There will be a memorial service on February 29, 2019 in or around Lake Mary, FL. Please note that details are still being arranged and this website, as well as other outlets, will be updated accordingly as those plans move forward. You may reach out to his daughter, Samantha Pendleton, with any general questions you may have until then.
