I knew Joe since high school. He became like a family member after my brother and he became lifelong close friends in college. We all liked his vibrant personality. When my mother was in the hospital with no visitors allowed, Joe was the only one who managed to get in her room and spend time with her. Joe was a fan of country music, and I was pleased that he liked my first released 45 record that had an original country song on one of the sides. He was always friendly and adventuresome, and certainly very smart.  It's like we lost a brother. We will all miss him. My sincere condolences.

I have many fond memories of Joe - a fine and always intellectually curious man, exceptional competitive swimmer, and fellow graduate of George Washinton H.S. class of '65. He will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences to his family

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania defines Joe and his love for adventure. We enjoyed other trips together and always were on the lookout for new experiences. Joe was a world traveler as well as a good friend. He was a great source for advice with so many interests that he delved into. He loved dogs, was an extraordinary gardener and tending to fish ponds, could fix most anything and loved the New Jersey shore where he owned a boat.

We checked in with each other regularly as we aged. Joe was devoted to his family and to brother Mike who suffered a serious accident that left him a quadriplegic in his teens. He was so proud of his Polish heritage and introducing me to kielbasa and other ethnic foods.

Millersville University of  Pennsylvania is where we met near sixty years ago and commuted from there in my '56 Chevy to Northeast Philadelphia where we both grew up. Joe was employed for thirty years with the Centennial School District in Warminster, where he was a favorite teacher, especially with all of the travel artifacts and slides that he shared with his classes. Joe was well liked by my parents and family, taking an interest in their lives. He will be missed.
