My heart is full of love yet broken my dear, sweet Joanne. You are the love of my life. Great are the challenges of this life yet you diligently faced them all with dignity, courage and faith. Your strength was amazing. Your love for your family unwavering. And your talents amazing! I miss you so very much but know without a doubt you are in the loving care of our Father in heaven. Rest well my love till we meet again! Always and forever your Daniel!

I first met Joanne when for a reason, I can't remember, my mother was worried about all the stuff they were up to and them eating well. Both Joanne and her husband were great cooks, etc., but they often were too busy with their farm and the booths they were doing at fairs to eat a good meal. I had just come home from AZ after a tough divorce, and I helped my mom make lunches for them a few times a week. Thereafter, I got to know Joanne through church and all the many kindnesses she showed me. She was always so complimentary, gave great hugs and smiles, and encouraged me through my trials. She was a hard worker, and even when she was falling apart physically she often kept going. I've never seen the like. She was a powerful force for good in her family, and through knowing her, I got to know her sons and husband. Joanne was a good friend. I know she is already at work, and full of joy, on the other side of the veil. <3
