Born on June 7, 1966, in Toronto, Ontario, Joanne’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness, warmth, and an indomitable spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Joanne’s journey through life was one of devotion and joy. She found her soulmate in Leonard Morrow (Lenny), and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Their union was blessed with three children: Thomas Morrow, the late Beatrice Morrow, and Lena Fabricio (née Morrow). Joanne’s role as a homemaker was one she cherished deeply, pouring her heart into creating a nurturing home for her family. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin and Malorie Fabricio, who were the apples of her eye.
Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and care. Joanne was predeceased by her beloved daughter Beatrice Morrow, her parents Melvin Crowder and Beatrice Crowder (née York), and her brother John Crowder. She is survived by her loving husband Lenny; her son Thomas; her daughter Lena; her son-in-law Mauricio; her grandchildren Benjamin and Malorie; her sister Judy Tyner (Terry); and her brother James Crowder (Sharen). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Each family member will carry forward her spirit in their hearts.

Her passion for the color pink was evident in her tasteful home décor and her carefully curated collection of unicorn memorabilia, which brought her immense joy and served as a symbol of her whimsical side. She possessed an innate ability to make friends wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression with her genuine care and interest in others.
