Joanne Hatch Harrison, 73, of Melrose, MA, passed peacefully on October 21, 2022 .

• Joanne was born on May 13, 1949  to  the late Clifton and Dorothy Hatch of Malden, MA and she was an older sister to the  late Jeannie Hatch. She is survived by her five siblings, Michael Hatch, Clifton ( Teddy) Hatch, Martin Hatch, Herbert Hatch, Julie Hatch McDevitt and their spouses. She is also survived by her daughter Beth Harrison Carnazzo and her husband Eric Carnazzo.  Her son Richard  Harrison Jr. and his wife Christine Harrison.  She leaves behind her 3 grandchildren, James Martinez, Ava Harrison and Richard Harrison. Joanne also leaves behind  many nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews.
•  Joanne graduated from Cheverus High School and went on to study cosmetology, was a hairdresser and a swimming instructor at the YMCA. She wed her late husband Richard J. Harrison in 1972 . 
• Joanne loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family and they all had many, many laughs with her story telling and humor. She was one of a kind with a big heart and will be deeply missed.
•  Per Joanne’s wishes, there will be a gravesite service at Forest Dale Cemetery Malden, MA  with family and close friends followed by a celebration of life.
