We mournfully announce the passing of Joanne Fanning, 76, of Merrillville, IN. Joanne passed away on February 03, 2023
Joanne, born to Lillian Werner ( nee Johnsen) and Joseph Fanning, took her first breath on August 11, 1946 . While Joanne never married, she lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. Her nephews and nieces meant more to her than words can describe.
When Joanne retired, she devoted her life to her friends and relatives. She was also an active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. We will miss her dearly. She is survived by her sister, Pamela Beatty, and her brothers Tom Fanning, Paul Werner, and Kevin Werner. Services are pending. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASPCA.
