Joanna Straight passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 76. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was born to John and Theresa Lorino in 1945 in Miami, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Moss (2008) and husband Donald Caputo (2015).

Joanna is survived by her husband Rick Straight. She was a loving mother to her two daughters and their husbands: Michelle and Michael St. Amour and Cheryl and Tanguy Libbrecht, and proud grandmother of Remy, Isabelle, Sebastien, and Xavier Libbrecht.

Joanna was known to her family as “Aunt Jo”. She was a business owner, worked as a school nurse, was active in her church, loved to sew, and was a natural family historian.

Despite health challenges, her outlook remained one of gratefulness, as she considered these to be “bonus years” from the Lord, and her marriage to Rick, as Spring in the Winter of their lives. She was and will remain an encouragement to many and is dearly loved.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11AM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at New Covenant Assembly, 1991 East Lake Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707. For those unable to attend in person, live streaming details will be listed on this website closer to the date of service.
