Johanna paid a visit, I think in 2003. together with her friend. . We drove around a lot to enjoy what there was to see. Of course, eating herring. Nice evenings and cozy in the garden by the fire pit.

While searching, Johanna typed in her name. shocked by what I saw then. In my mind back to the many beautiful moments. also during my visit to Huntsville. I wish family and friends a lot of strength and will burn a candle on December 30th.

I wish I would have known about this. Oh, how I miss laughing with you. Your love for your cats and girls were evident with everyone you come in contact with. You're never forgotten.
I love and miss you my dear friend.  Blessings to your girls.

Olivia and Chloe,

I’m so very sorry for your loss.

I hope your memories comfort you during this difficult time.

I have fond memories of high school and spending time at your house with your mom.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

May Joanna’s memory be a blessing to Olivia and Chloe and the friends she loved like family.  Joanna was a passionate advocate for anyone who needed a little help in life, and always offered a couch to sleep on or a meal to eat.  She was a fierce defender of equal rights for everyone, and was without judgment of anyone’s beliefs, lifestyles or choices.   Joanna’s girls inherited her “love and let love” passion and will continue to make her proud .  Olivia and Chloe are strong, independent, intelligent, talented and compassionate women,  just like their mom. Godspeed Joanna, we will miss you.
So very sorry for the loss of another Leonard cousin!  Even though I really didn't know her as an adult, I knew her through her daughters.   She apparently reared them well, because they are fine examples of America's next generation!  My thoughts, prayers and LOVE go with you, Olivia and Chloe!  You DO your momma PROUD!!
