Background
Hello beautiful humans, Jasmine here.
Many of you know of my sweet and beautiful grandma Browneyes.
Grandma went to heaven on June 26, 2021 after a brutal year of battling several cancers.
Jo Ann spent her life surviving best she could after losing her sweet mom to cancer at a very very young age. She raised two awesome kids Tony and Carmen.
It’s been a rough year for everyone, to say the very least.
Mom and I couldn’t work this past year because we were taking care of grandma because the doctors wouldn’t and hospice hardly showed up and only tried to pour morphine into grandma’s 100lb 80lb 50lb body.
I sit writing this from grandma's house where my mom and I now sift through all her life’s possessions trying to vacate the premises because we can’t pay the bills, let alone throw a worthy celebration for Browneyes.
Grandma, on multiple secret occasions throughout her life said she wanted a New Orleans style funeral - horse and carriage, dancing, zydeco tunes and a parade.
This is a big ole wish but we’re going to make it happen. Someday.
If you could donate anything at all to help our family pay the bills and eventually throw sweet Browneyes her celebration I just don’t know how to express the gratitude our family would be, and have been already by your kindness, flooded by.
And of course you’ll be invited to the celebration!
as Browneyes would say, WADO! (thank you in Cherokee) and
Tanakia! Until we meet again!
