Background
We will be collecting funds to split between three charities we have chosen that are near and dear to Joan and her family. You may donate directly to one of these in her honor, as well.
Howard-Suamico School District Education Foundation - www.HSEducationFoundation.org (Joan worked her entire career for the Howard Suamico School District, and all of her children went through school in the district, giving them all close ties to what his foundation does)
PMG Awareness Organization - www.pmgawareness.org (Joan's youngest grandchild (Malia) was born with a rare neurological condition Polymicrogyria, or PMG. This organization helps bring together families all across the world for help and support as they go through life dealing with this condition.)
Alzheimer's Association - www.alz.org/wi (Joan lost her father in 2012 after battling with Alzheimer's, as well as other relatives, and we were all able to see first hand the wonderful work this organization can do!) Contribute
