Joan “Jean” Sanderson, born on April 17, 1949, in Limerick, Ireland, passed away on August 21, 2025, at home in Palm Coast, FL with family by her side.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, Carmelia and Laurence, and brother Gregory Reynolds. She is lovingly remembered by her twin brother Ronald Reynolds and her sister Mary Carrion, both of Palm Coast, FL.

Jean’s legacy lives on through her children: Desiree and her husband Paul Intermesoli of Newburgh, NY; Ivan Sanderson of Palm Coast, FL; Solaire and her husband Christopher Brown of North Bend, WA; and Ariane and her husband Jordan Mers of Palm Coast, FL. She was a devoted grandmother to Jaden and Paul J. Intermesoli of Newburgh, NY; Caroline, Conor, Christopher, Caitlyn, and Colin Brown of North Bend, WA; and Xuriyah and Zyonnah Mers of Palm Coast, FL.

She is also fondly remembered by her nephew Marc Carrion and his partner Christina Lago of Washington, D.C.

Jean’s legacy will live on for generations by sharing her valuable life lessons and many stories. May those memories comfort those who knew and loved her.
