Joan, "Joanie" Yvette Pierce passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home in Rogers, AR. Joanie was born in New Orleans, LA on December 29, 1955. She was the daughter of George and Leatrice Pierce. Joan is preceded in death by her father, George Pierce, mother, Leatrice Pierce and brother, Donald Pierce. She is survived by her siblings, Rodney Pierce and wife Lessie Pierce of Denham Springs, LA, Wade Pierce and wife, Robin Pierce of Frankfurt, KY and Linda Staples and husband, Art Staples of Castle Rock, CO. Joan had 9 nieces and nephews.

Joan will be remembered as a generous, fun-loving and thoughtful person who was always thinking of others before herself. She enjoyed a good laugh, finding thrift store treasures, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She loved her dog, Sassy, who was her constant companion. Joan had a lot of friends and was loved by many.

We are comforted in knowing that Joan's faith in God was strong until the end.

A memorial will be held at a future date in her home state of Louisiana. Date to follow.
