Joan Patrick, a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on June 2, 2025. Born on December 11, 1936, Joan's legacy lives on through the hearts and lives of her loving family.

She is fondly remembered by her son Billy Jo (Susan) Patrick and daughter Carol Patrick, Grandchildren: Amy Jo (Tommie) Giles, Billie Sue (Jonathan) Lepisto and their children: Susie, Jonna and William, Jesse (Jennifer) Patrick, and their children: Lucas and Claire, and Kevin Moore, plus a host of treasured nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Patrick, brother, JW Foster, and sister in law Yvonne (Midge) Foster. 

Through her words and actions, Joan instilled the lessons of respect, hard work, sobriety, kindness, religion and the deep bonds of family. She loved laughing, crocheting, quilting, camping and spending time with family. Having retired from a long career with Merritt Foods in 1991, Joan dedicated her energy to helping others, and was a member of  the Church of Christ Claycomo, MO and Church of Christ Pleasant Valley in Haskell, OK. 

Those who knew Joan will remember her as a caring, nurturing presence and a pillar of strength for her family. May her memory be a blessing to all as we all try to live our lives in a way that honors hers. 

The family will hold a graveside service on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, OK.
