Joan's obituary
Joan Mabel McKenzie has passed on to heaven where she will be able to see again I'm grateful to have had the honor of taking care of her as she took care of me at the beginning of my life the orria that she carried with her was incredible odds are that most people have seen her either by her running the elevator at JCPenney's downtown walking the valley plaza or hodels restaurant she was very old school and straightforward I would jokingly refer to her as the warden I couldn't be more proud being able to call her mom for so many years but now I'm falling short of being able to fulfill her wishes (it's hard to be proud when you have to relocate your vehicle doesn't want to cooperate and trying to deal with not having my best friend is honestly overwhelming) of being buried and at this time any help would be appreciated mom I'm sorry but I had to ask for help I couldn't handle all this at once I love you
I'm so sorry I got caught up in the moment and forgot to mention that mom was born in England in 1928 and came to the United States in 1952 married in 54 had two sons that she raised as a single parent she retired from Penny's at 58 years old due to her eyesight
