Background
Joan spent the better part of her life as a Paws volunteer. She believed and supported their mission to provide custom-trained Assistance Dogs to people living with disabilities. Joan was primarily a foster puppy raiser. However, she had also hosted breeding dogs as well as hosted and attended events to spread knowledge of this important cause to children, groups all over the country. Joan’s shared mission with Paws has helped dozens of people all over.
