Joan Suttles Barnett, 85, of Hazard, born on March 19, 1936 went to be with the Lord February 28, 2022 on a beautiful, sunny Monday morning in Lakeside Park.

She was born to William Walter and Sally Ann (Miller) Suttles Sr.. She was a Homemaker and a mother of four children, she loved being outside no matter the weather taking care of her garden, and watching the birds. She loved sharing her life stories about the places she'd traveled and the outfits she'd sown for parties. She was always smiling, laughing, and surely blessed and loved by all of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years Harry Lee Barnett, and beautiful daughter, Carrie Kathleen Combs. Her three brothers William Jr., Willard and Charles, and sister Jenny.

She is survived by her two sons, John Clifton and Jeffrey Wayne Barnett of Florence and daughter Karen Lee Reedy of Lakeside Park. Two sisters Betty Lou Allen and Barbara Ann Rice of Dayton. Numerous nieces, nephews, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
