She married Larry Owen Johnson (deceased) in Big Rapids, Michigan in 1959.  They were married 50 years.  Joann graduated Cum Laude from Aquinas College, with a double major in English/Latin.  She taught English in Comstock and Gull Lake System for several years.  Joann raised three children and worked very hard in several local greenhouses.  [He/she] lived in [location] where [he/she] enjoyed a passion for gardening. Visitation Services will be held at Langeland Funeral Home, Burdick Street Location on Thursday, March 31, from 5-7 PM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Friday at 11 AM.   Joann is survived by her sister Pat Caukins (86).  3 Children, Kevin Johnson (Leslie Abitz), Cathy (Johnson) Mureika, Laura Johnson.  4 grandchildren, Colin Johnson (Ali Seline), Erin Johnson (Ben Tresidder), Hannah Johnson.  2 Great Children "on the way" in April and July.
