Jo's obituary
In loving memory of Mrs. Jo Frances Naumann, whose life journey began on June 26, 1941 and ended as she left us to be with Jesus on February 22, 2025. A woman of many admirable qualities, Jo's personality was the perfect blend of determination, friendliness, kindness, and affection. Her fiery spirit and creative mind set her apart from others, painting her as a vivid character in the tapestry of life. She was a devout Christian, with an unwavering trust in God.
Jo's life was a testament to the power of resilience and faith. Her life lessons were simple yet profound. Trust God, never give up, give generously, and embrace laughter. Her long white hair was a beacon of wisdom that many recognized and remembered her by.
She leaves behind a legacy that is far-reaching and impactful. As a mother, she exemplified love and sacrifice, raising seven children with determination and heart. She embraced 31 years of marriage with her husband Doyle, overcoming the challenges they faced together. A friend and mentor to many, she radiated warmth, acceptance, and support to all.
Jo's influence extended beyond her family, encouraging those around her to trust in the Lord and the power of prayer, and to think creatively and outside the box. Her spirit lives on in the countless hearts she touched and the lives she enriched. As we bid farewell to Jo, we continue to remember her life and the vibrance she brought into our world.
Jo is survived by her seven children - Jenny Crenshaw, Bobby Naumann, Kim Stuenkel, Drew Naumann, Chris Naumann, Stephen Naumann and Samantha Naumann and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Bobbie Ann Jay and Bambi Degeest. She was preceded in death by her husband, August Doyle Naumann; her parents, Jo Maureen and Tom Walker and Bob and Anne Jay; and her brother, Tommy Walker.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7, 10:30am at Aldersgate Church, 2201 Earl Rudder Frwy S, College Station TX 77845.
