A Aunt is the best of both worlds! They get to be your mentor and also your friend. Three days ago I lost my best friend. Aunt Jo Anne was more than my Aunt she was also a mother figure and my protector! The last words my mother said to her was, “Take Care Of Kendra.” I was 11 when my mother started her new journey and Aunt Jo Anne made sure my mother’s last words was fulfilled 🩷
Unfortunately, Our family doesn’t have the resources to give Aunt Jo Anne the proper send off that she deserves. We’re asking the community for help with donations (No amount is too small) and more importantly prayers to get thru these hard times. Even if you can’t help can you please share Aunt Jo Anne’s GoFundMe and I know some people don’t use GoFundMe so any donations can also be sent thru Cashapp or Apple Pay. My Aunt is the last of her generation! Even tho she was sick and started suffering from Dementia she didn’t allow her pain to stop bringing others joy. Even though the hurt is unbearable it’s up to us to fulfill Aunt Jo Anne’s final wishes. And even though we aren’t emotionally or financially prepared I know there are some amazing people in this world that wouldn’t hesitate to help a family in need. Even if you’re not able to donate prayers are welcomed and definitely needed! Thank you.
