Jo Ann Jones, 79, of Spring, TX passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024.

Jo Ann grew up in New Caney where she went to High School and was head cheerleader, homecoming queen and voted most likely to succeed.  She was a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor.  She owned numerous antique malls over the years including Fox and Hound Antique mall and Twin Oaks Antique mall.   She loved doing antique shows at Roundtop and Carmine.  She bought a beautiful historical home that we lived in for many years and is now a bed in breakfast.  Spending time with her granddaughter and daughters was her great joy in life.  She enjoyed traveling with her family through out the United States and Europe to go on antique buying trips.  Jo Ann will be dearly missed and always remembered.  Jo Ann was predeceased by her husband Clifton Jones and her parents Walter and Marie Louise Schermerhorn.  She is survived by her granddaughter Lily Ann Hill, by her daughter Ava Hill and daughter and son in law Chadd and Annie Moore.  There will be a funeral with family at Rosewood funeral home in Humble on Saturday the 20th at 2 pm.  We invite Jo Ann’s loved ones and friends of her family to join us for her celebration of life service at St. John the Divine at 2450 River Oaks Blvd, Houston, Tx.  It will be in the parlor on Thursday May 16 at 11 a.m. with a brunch reception.  Please park near the River Oaks Blvd. entrance there is a circle driveway and the entrance has glass doors.  The parlor is straight down the hall to the left.
